Postmodernity is taken in vain by so many people.
But The Butterfly know damn well it means a lot more than selling Motörhead t-shirts to kids who’ve never heard Ace of Spades and waving your glowstick in the air like you just don’t care.
They know it doesn’t have to be in eternal conflict with that which is genuine, heartfelt and unashamdely intelligent - and they make music to prove their point. Bombastic, stadium-filling, intelligent and- yes- sometimes downright silly- they are a truly (post)modern rock band.
